The Morning Routine of a Highly Effective Airbnb Host

I like reading the routines of highly successful people. They inspire me. Or amuse me. Or sometimes baffle me. In homage to those great morning larks, here’s my morning routing – the morning routine of a highly effective Airbnb host: 

1. Hit the snooze button

2. Drink STRONG coffee

Again, twice. At a minimum.

3. Cook the breakfast of champions 

Porridge with blueberries and honey. Can’t beat it. Unless you’ve got a bacon and egg sandwich, which clearly wins.

4. Play with my boy

I build the blocks. He smashes them. Repeat.

5. Bike to work 

This might seem virtuous but it’s really not. It’s just too easy. It would take me longer to drive. Mr Money Mustache agrees.

Pretty standard stuff I know. It’s hardly going to compete with Mark Wahlberg’s routine.

So what is so effective about that I hear you ask? I automated everything, remember. So my Airbnb is effective without me. 

Guests check in. Money rolls in. Cleaners clean up. Repeat. All while I’m enjoying play time, porridge and coffee. The perfect morning routine of a highly effective Airbnb host.
